It is Cherry Blossom time in this pink and white awning stripe dress. I was inspired by the use of stripes in this pattern in a review on Pattern Review.Com and decided to try it. I used a heavier home decorator cotton that was designed for drapes or valances and then cut it on the bias to create the chevron effect. This is one time when that 60’s style center front seam works to the advantage!
