My sister in law sent me a vintage Vogue pattern purchased in the early 80’s. I loved the lines of the skirt and it was the perfect style for some heavy woven fabric with a reverse weave design on the back side.
As we move into fall, it is time to think about wearing boots again . I combined elements of three patterns to make this flirty cowgirl dress to rock those boots.
A cowgirl bag!
A sleep set for Little Brother!
Frozen themed sleep set for Vivie.
Hearts and Tie Dye for Georgie.
I finally got my hands on some of the Disney copyrighted “Frozen” fabric. It is a polyester knit, of all things! So I made a tunic and leggings for my 6 year old granddaughter who is a big Frozen Fan.
I had enough fabric to make a sister dress from the same fabric for my 8 year old granddaughter.
In project runway style, I combined elements of three different Project Runway patterns by Simplicity and drafted a two layer flounce for the hem band to create a flirty dress in black and while.
This pattern with its separate cuffs and collar inspired me to try another black and white themed blouse for my sister-in-law.
The shirt arrived and it fits! Yeah!
I saw this free pattern and had some leftover fabric from another project in my stash so I gave it a try one evening! I was off to work in it the next day.
